Cabaret Baby

This is a piece I have been working on for the last month. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I think it's the first time my female characters actually look like ladies and not bricks.
Anyway it's is a commissioned piece that will be used as a tour poster for one of Stephan Deazley's music productions coming up next year. I'll post the actual poster when it's all finished.
I will also be releasing Cabaret Baby as a limited edition art print very soon. There will be only 10 so you will have to get in fast. If you would like more info on the print contact me at seymour.info@gmail.com

HORROROPTICS

Horroroptic - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever
My first Threadless.com t-shirt submission. This is a great website. If you haven't seen it then check it out. Different artists submit art work for t-shirts, if your piece gets chosen it's printed in a limited edition and the artist even gets some cash. Heaps of really cool t-shits, way better than the shops. www.threadless.com. Vote for mine!

'Under the looking glass' solo show

This is the the flier for my latest solo show at The Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh. Was an great space to exhibit with amazing stone walls and heaps of character. Visit my myspace site for other pics of the show and the full collection of work and go here for close ups of the prints.

'Sherman Swinder's Sideshow' on the right and 'The Eternal Drop' on the left hanging at the show. Both in custom Victorian frames that I found while rummaging.

This is one of my latest prints from the 'Under the looking Glass' show. 'No place like home' is a high quality Giclee print, printed on 310gsm archival German Etching art paper and measures 56 x 72 cm. It is from an edition of 10. You can have a closer look here.

Seymour's Crystal Balls. Each crystal ball comes with 5 interchangeable images from the 'Under the looking Glass' collection and are packaged in a silk lined miniature hat box. I only made 8 of these and think there is still a couple left at The Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh.

These are hand-made plush toys created by 'Love Fran'. Each toy is limited to 5 per character. They are made from baby cord and stand 20cm in height. The characters include Sherman Swindler, Ida Glass, Bondage Boy and Monkey.
